"The hand-held cardiac panel revolutionizes the medical diagnosis of heart attacks. Instead of lengthy lab work, only 15 minutes is needed for the panels to filter blood cells from a blood sample. By isolating proteins the test quickly indicates the degree and extent of the cardiac arrest.
Philip Poissant, who worked with KAN and Gerry Adamson Design, was hired as the industrial design consultant because of his skill in designing small injected moulded plastic products. The plastic casing of the cardiac panel is well crafted, simply colour-coded, light and easy to handle. Most importantly the filtration clips snap firmly into place and can be removed easily.
The filtering system is patented and is exported to the USA, Europe, and Asia.
