Description
"The highly accessible grade one Braille-kit is intended for parents who want to learn Braille to teach their visually impaired children. The kit includes a key chain holder with a small cube of movable parts to make Braille figures, a stylus plastic ruler to punch out Braille letters, a storybook about children’s clothes, and a marketing brochure in print and in Braille. Specific design features have made the product a success, including velcro fasteners, helpful carrying handles, large type size, high contrast images and colours and wide use of Braille. The box-kit sells for under $10. Awards: Gold, Design Effectiveness Award, 1998"
