"According to the Piccaluga brothers, approximately 1000 Sigma Series were produced by their company Synthesis and distributed in malls across North America. The use of powder coating was innovative for this time.

This item was exhibited in The Shape of Things Now, Art Gallery of Ontario, 1970, and Seduced and Abandoned, the Art Gallery at Harbourfront, 1985-6."
